Reporting deadlines for annual report and information form / tax return
There are strict reporting deadlines for both the annual report and the information form / tax return and your company may be charged fees if they are not complied with.
The deadline for submitting the annual report to the Danish Business Authority is 5 months after the end of the financial year - however, only 4 months for Public Listed Companies. If the deadline for submitting the annual statement is not met, each member of the company's management may be charged a fee of up to DKK 3,000.
The deadline for submitting the information form/ tax return to Tax is generally 6 months after the end of the income year. Companies with a deferred income year may have a shorter deadline than 6 months, as the latest possible deadline is 1 September after the end of the income year. If the information form is not reported on time, the company must pay a tax surcharge of DKK 200 for each day that the deadline is exceeded. However, a maximum of DKK 5,000.
